1) You should at least try to finish high school or your GED (even though not usually required). Almost all employers like their new hires to show some level of competence in the education field, and trucking companies are no exception. A high school diploma or even a GED will show your future employer that you are able to finish at least a basic education. The last thing you want your supervisor to think is that you are not competent. This isn't to say that not finishing school makes you a less intelligent person, but you do not want to fall into that stereotype if at all possible.
JD Truck Training Centre Finding a great trucking job can also be found by looking at the individual carriers customer base. The rule of thumb here is that large freight customers will only use reliable carriers to get their goods from A to B. Large customers usually don't want to plan on breakdowns in their supply chain so they tend to only contract with reputable carriers. When you get a truck job with a carrier that has contracts with large shippers that will usually mean job stability and more freight for you.

Make play dates for your puppy where he can socialize one-on-one with a safe and friendly dog. Your puppy should meet and greet numerous dogs in his critical socialization period (30-50 is not unreasonable). Playing with the same dog repeatedly, won't give puppy the social skills or confidence he needs.
Upon arrival, the gate guard instructed me to "Keep straight and you can't miss it". There were two things wrong with these instructions: First, I didn't know what the heck "it" was. I assumed that the steel would be going to a hangar, but there were hangars all over the place! Second, Hr licence SA should have said, "Veer right", because when I "kept straight", I dead-ended into a road with no place to turn around.
